What is the Verti Call Choice Award?
The Verti Call Choice Award is our store's own distinction. It is not a popularity contest and it is not for sale: it is simply the personal selection of the Verti Call team, starting with our founder, Marc-Olivier Chabot, and the climbers who work here. When a product carries this badge, it means we have used it, tested it on real rock and ice, and that it has earned a permanent place in our own kits. These are our favourites, the gear we recommend to our friends and the gear we would buy again without hesitation.

How a product earns the badge
There is no application and no shortlist made at a desk. A product earns the Verti Call Choice Award the way it earns its place on our racks: by being used, compared and discussed by the people of the store, on rock, on ice and in the mountains around here. When the whole team agrees a product stands out in one of the three categories, it gets the badge, and it keeps it as long as it keeps deserving it.
