Semi-static and static ropes are excellent for many climbing applications, but they lack the necessary dynamic stretch for safe lead climbing.

If you´re looking for a rope built to last, look no further: the Mammut 11.0 Performance Static rope will do the rounds and more. Designed for climbers and mountaineers with a slow, thoughtful technique, this semi-static rope will allow you to explore nature with safety and a long lifespan as its core values.

Made of 100% high-strength polyamide, the 11.0 Performance Static has very low elasticity and is designed to give you the maximum possible strength and durability per inch of rope. Conscientious climbers will be pleased to know that this polyamide has been manufactured with between 30% and 90% recycled, environmentally safe materials, making this rope a product worthy of the bluesign® seal.

Needless to say, being a Mammut product, the 11.0 Performance Static is compatible with most carabiners and pegs on the market. However, we do not recommend using dynamic belaying with this rope, given its semi-static nature and low elongation index.

This static rope is highly abrasion-resistant, very low stretch, maximum strength, extremely durable and has a long service life. Do not use for dynamic belaying.
