Raptor 1 Ice Tool

The Raptor is the lightest ergonomic ice tool you can find and EliteClimb is THE FIRST and ONLY producer of certificated climbing axes, made only from composites in the world!!!

The Raptor is aggressive, ergonomic, and ultralight. It's made out of hybrid carbon and kevlar composite. It's high strength and low weight, freedom of shape, fatigue endurance, waterproof, freezproof, impact resistance, and thermal isolation (no snow or ice will stick on the shaft and warm for the hand).

Raptor is designed for ice climbing, mixed and drytooling. Two types of handles according to climber's preferences. The Raptor 1 is designed for all around; for ice, mixed and drytooling. Raptor 2 is optimized for ice. The Raptor I handle is a bit thicker and shorter than the Raptor II (see picture).

Carbon fibers are lightweight and flexible, 70% lighter than steel, 40% lighter than aluminum, high strength-to-weight ratio, high corrosion resistance, application flexibility, low mass, superior fatigue properties, and resistance to low temperatures.
