Aluminum connector with RISE Lock™ sleeve. The classic wide-base HMS pear shape makes it suitable for belaying with a clove hitch or Italian hitch. Can be used with all belay and anchoring systems, both at belay stations and when connected to the harness.

Key features:

• RISE™ (RIght SEquence) is an innovative automatic locking system patented by Kong that provides the convenience of a 2-movement opening and closure, while significantly reducing the risk of accidental opening. Its operation is as simple as it is effective: to open it, you need to perform the two movements of rotating the sleeve and opening the gate in that “right sequence”. This means that if you press the gate first, the sleeve will not rotate and therefore the carabiner remains locked. This protects the carabiner from accidental opening caused by rope entanglement or from the carabiner gate pressing against an edge – a concern with other 2-movement closure carabiners.
